Bob Tedder spent more than 20 years in new equipment sales before he started Tedder Equipment in 1991. The idea was simple: small and mid-size farms across Arkansas needed clean, honestly represented, ready-to-work tractors — not machines that looked fine on the outside and broke down in the field.
In 2004, Tedder Equipment moved from Hoxie to the Ozark Mountains, just outside Mountain Home. Today the company serves farms in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Mississippi — livestock operations, poultry farms, hay producers, and food and fiber growers alike.
We sell both new and used tractors and carry a wide range of implements: front-end loaders, cutters, diggers, drivers, blades, disks, and trailers. Need a specific unit? We'll go find it. Bob spent two decades sourcing equipment for customers — that skill didn't go away when he opened his own doors.
Bob and Valine Tedder are farmers, not just dealers. They run a small cow/calf operation and a Gaited Horse Breeding Farm, which means they use the same equipment they sell. When a machine falls short of what you'd trust in your own operation, it doesn't go on the lot — it goes to salvage or auction.
Every used tractor is totally serviced, repaired and/or refurbished then fully tested in our shops before it reaches the sale lot. Our service department handles most brands and takes pride in getting the work done right, at a reasonable cost.
